The process of creating this short video was extremely helpful for me as it allowed me to develop and better the skills that will be essential when filming my final music video project. Each stage of this preliminary work allowed me to understand how ideas can be created into a media product.

By filming in such a busy location and working with only phones, I learned how important patience and repetition are, as filming multiple takes was necessary, and how important lighting and camera focus are in achieving a beautiful result.

The projects of preliminary work allowed me to challenge myself by using unfamiliar apps, by experimenting with different editing techniques, such as transitions, fades and overlays, which helped me understand better how essential editing skills are.

The creation of this preliminary task has given me more confidence in editing and also filming. I know I still have a lot of things to learn, but I'm sure I'll improve more and more.
