During a recent trip to Paris with my family, I found myself captivated by a stunning view of the Eiffel Tower. In that moment, I realized that the location I was in was perfect for my preliminary work because the view was breathtaking, so, I decided to create a short video that captured the atmosphere and mood I had in my mind.
After our walk in Paris, we returned to the apartment where we were staying, and I immediately began to research and develop more ideas for this preliminary work. I took my laptop and just spent some time looking over a few moments from certain movies and music videos I was familiar with, searching for inspiration.
With the help of this process, I found several moments and styles that captured the exact mood I wanted to achieve in my own video, which helped me plan the overall approach for my project.
Some similar vibe/style music videos: Ultraviolence - Lana Del Rey
West Coast - Lana Del Rey

My Immortal - Evanescence
Crazy - Aerosmith
Afterwards, I shared the idea with my sister, who agreed to help me with this project by taking part in the short video. The following night, we all went to the breathtaking location we had visited the previous day and began filming.
The process of doing this research and planning how I want to create my short video allowed me to have clear ideas that would soon turn into a fun short video.
