Main ideas:

When I read that I have to do this project, a book cover, my mind immediately went towards the horror/dark side of the books.

My main idea was a photo done in the woods. A person dressed in full black in the middle, the atmosphere tick with silence, but I did not have the people or weather to make this photo.

The reason I chose this as my main project:

I chose this project for one simple reason, books.

I have always been a reader, and books are an important part of my life. When I pick up a book I feel like I'm stepping into another world. Reading is a way of living countless lives, experiencing different things with every turn of the page. Every time I open a book I forget about the world around me. Books are my escape.

And as someone who loves getting in different lives by reading I decided to do a book cover for my Preliminary work. The idea of creating a book cover, of designing something that represents books makes ma really excited. Making a book cover is like capturing the heart of the book only in one image.

So, the main reason I chose this project is my love for books.

How I think this will help for my next projects:

Well, since I don't really have experience on this side of media, I definitely think that making this first project will help me a lot. I will gain some experience in creating blogs, using cameras, editing and creating, which will help me so much for my next projects.
