"How did your production skills develop throughout this project?"
At the beginning of the project, I barely knew how to use the camera. I loved the idea of creating my own film opening, but I know it would be overwhelming. But, a friend I appreciate a lot spent over two hours with me, and patiently explained to me every detail of the camera, how it works, how to film, how to frame a shot.
She was by my side every step when filming began. She guided me and answered every question I had. She showed me how to improve everything... and I did. I spent hours recreating scenes. I filmed one scene over and over again until it felt right.
After filming, an even more difficult situation came.. editing. I have never used DaVinci Resolve before, and when I first saw it, it seemed impossible to use it. I never thought I could have done it. But once again, my friend helped me. She explained everything to me. I spent days editing and adjusting everything until my creation finally came together.
Now, after all the effort, I can finally say I know how to use a camera and how to bring my story to life by editing each moment.
This project taught me how to have patience and how beautiful it is to learn from a person who has a lot of experience, a person who believes in you.
